Huang projected that the company is on track to generate $1 trillion from AI chips through 2027, emphasizing that the industry has reached an inflection point where inference—AI that 'thinks'—is now the primary demand driver over traditional training. While Nvidia reported a 73% year-over-year revenue increase in its most recent quarter, the company faces growing pressure as major customers like Amazon and OpenAI begin diversifying into custom silicon like Trainium. Despite this competition, Huang maintains that a "virtuous cycle" of reinvestment is fueling a global capital expenditure boom.
