Samsung Electronics to begin using Korean-made EUV blank masks from S&S Tech in Q2

Samsung Electronics plans to introduce domestically produced EUV blank masks from S&S Tech into its manufacturing process starting in the second quarter. This move aims to diversify its supply chain, which has previously relied 100% on Japanese suppliers like Hoya and AGC. S&S Tech has built a dedicated factory to meet this demand, and Samsung is in the final evaluation stages.
