Chemleader strengthens advanced packaging chemical supply chain in Taiwan with new Kaohsiung factory

Chemleader Corporation has established a new factory in Kaohsiung Science Park, close to TSMC's Kaohsiung fab, to support advanced packaging with specialized chemical solutions. The company is investing heavily in R&D and facilities, including advanced experimental equipment and cleanrooms, to provide customized chemical solutions for post-wafer packaging processes like cleaning and etching, which were previously dominated by foreign manufacturers. Chemleader's products are reportedly already adopted by TSMC and ASE for advanced packaging. Its parent company, Grand Process Technology, projects significant revenue growth for 2025. The company is also working on more technically demanding products, such as nano-twin copper plating chemicals, which are currently very expensive and primarily supplied by overseas vendors.
