Samsung Electronics has decided to extend the production of DDR4 DRAM until the end of 2026. This move is intended to take advantage of rising market prices and involves signing non-cancellable, non-returnable long-term supply agreements with specific server clients. The shift in strategy is partly attributed to production yield challenges for HBM3e relative to competitors.
