Nagoya University and Tokyo Electron Miyagi develop etching process with 5x speed increase

Nagoya University and Tokyo Electron Miyagi have developed a reactive ion etching process that uses HF plasma to cool wafers, increasing the etching speed of SiO2 films by five times compared to conventional methods.
