TSMC Arizona reportedly plans 4-6 more fabs and accelerates existing projects, expanding to over ten total fabs

TSMC Arizona plans to construct an additional 4 to 6 fabs on a recently acquired plot of land, potentially expanding its total to over ten fabs in the region. The company is also expediting current construction projects. TSMC's Chairman, C.C. Wei, referred to the new property as a future GigaFab cluster and stated that permit applications for a fourth fab and the first advanced packaging plant in Arizona have been submitted.
