Google has reportedly increased volume expectations for the TPU v7e project with MediaTek for 2026 and 2027 due to rising demand potentially exceeding Broadcom's capacity. The project achieved a tape-out milestone in early October 2025 and is currently in trial production at TSMC. Projections suggest MediaTek could ship approximately 1 million units in 2027, with samples expected for testing in Q1 2026. Sales are forecasted to reach $0.8 billion in 2026 and scale to $5 billion by 2028.
