Analog Devices has established and begun operating an internal program compliant with OpenChain ISO/IEC 5230, the international standard for open-source software supply chain competence.
Context
Analog Devices (ADI) has implemented an internal program conformant with the OpenChain ISO/IEC 5230 standard, the global benchmark for open-source software license compliance. Announced in December 2025, this move formalizes the governance of open-source components within ADI’s product lifecycle. The initiative is designed to bolster software integrity and provide greater supply chain transparency, which is increasingly vital as the company expands its presence at the Intelligent Edge and within complex AI ecosystems.
This operational update follows robust financial results, with Analog Devices reporting $11.02 billion in revenue for FY2025, a 17% increase over the previous year. By standardizing its open-source management, ADI reduces legal risks and procurement friction for its 125,000 global customers. This high-standard compliance is a central component of the company’s strategy to accelerate time-to-market and maintain leadership in software-defined industrial and automotive semiconductor solutions.
