Honda and Japan's National Institute of Advanced Industrial Science and Technology (AIST) have established a joint laboratory to accelerate the development of diamond semiconductors. The partnership aims to develop diamond MOSFETs and automotive inverters, leveraging the material's superior power handling and heat dissipation properties compared to traditional silicon solutions.
