This growth follows a series of capital investments, including the July 2025 completion of the Tarazaki Site and a 24.5 billion yen facility in the Kasado area that became operational in March 2025. By integrating machine learning and automated production lines, Hitachi has enhanced its ability to detect micro-defects smaller than 10 nm, a critical capability for next-generation semiconductor nodes.
