Samsung Electronics has begun delivering samples of SOCAMM2, a low-power server memory module developed for NVIDIA, for quality evaluation and testing. The module utilizes LPDDR5X technology and 1b-nanometer class DRAM to double bandwidth and reduce power consumption compared to RDIMMs. Commercial availability is planned for early 2026 as both companies work on JEDEC standardization.
