On December 1, 2025, STMicroelectronics announced the VIPerGaN65W, a new 65-watt flyback converter that integrates a 700V GaN transistor and controller into a single, compact 5mm x 6mm package. This highly integrated component targets the growing market for USB-PD adapters, fast chargers, and auxiliary power supplies. The device is already in production, signaling immediate availability for manufacturers.
