Global Unichip Corp (GUC) is reportedly handling the design and turnkey services for Tesla's next-generation chips. Orders for the AI5 chip have reached 1.5 million units with a 20% gross margin. Development for the AI6 chip has commenced on advanced nodes, with a projected ramp in 2028. Additionally, Tesla has resumed work on the Dojo3 server chip, which will utilize InFO and SoIC packaging technologies rather than CoWoS, with production expected to start in the first half of 2027.
