AMD has unveiled its Ryzen AI Halo developer platform, a compact mini-PC designed to rival NVIDIA’s DGX Spark. Scheduled for release in Q2 2026, the system utilizes the new Ryzen AI Max+ series processors to target the high-end AI workstation market. This launch underscores AMD’s strategy to provide a robust local development environment with "day-0" support for leading AI models.
The hardware features up to 128GB of unified memory and 60 TFLOPS of graphics performance, enabling the local execution of models with up to 200 billion parameters.
