Tokyo Electron Kyushu's new development facility, scheduled for completion in October 2025 and operation in spring 2026, is a four-story building with approximately 27,000 square meters of floor space and an investment of 47 billion JPY. Its purpose is to develop cutting-edge processes for 1nm generation and beyond. The tweet suggests it might be larger than TSMC's Kumamoto factory.
